14 Organizations Win Grants
to Use Data to Promote Child Health

The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health has awarded grants to 14 California organizations to promote the use of data to foster improvements in children's health.

The grants, all of which are for approximately $10,000, are intended to encourage creative strategies for using data to document child health issues and bring them to the attention of decision-makers. Much of the data for these projects will come from kidsdata.org. The grants will be used for a range of purposes, including data analysis and development, training and education, and public information campaigns.
