Length of Time Since Last Dental Visit
Loading…
Definition: Length of time since last dental visit among children ages 2-17, by age group (e.g., in 2015-2016, an estimated 6.4% of California children ages 2-11 had never had a dental visit).
Footnote: The question, "How long has it been since you last visited a dentist, hygienist or orthodontist?" was not asked of adolescents ages 12-17 in 2015-2016. These estimates are based on a survey of the population and are subject to both sampling and nonsampling error. The notation S refers to data that have been suppressed because the sample size was lower than 50, the estimate was less than 0.1%, or the data were suppressed by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. N/A means that data are not available. For more information about the California Health Interview Survey, see http://healthpolicy.ucla.edu/chis.
