San Mateo County Children's Report 2007
Children in Our Community: A Report on Their Health and Well-Being
The San Mateo County Children's Report summarizes the status of children's health
and well being in the county, highlighting key issues that warrant attention. As
with past Children's Reports, the 2007 edition was produced by the San Mateo County
Children's Data Team, a collaborative of public and private agencies.
The report aims to increase awareness
of issues facing children and provide data to inform program and policy decisions.
The report can be used for strategic planning, resource allocation, policy development,
needs assessments, program planning, coalition building, grantwriting, public education
and advocacy.
Unlike past Children's Reports, this edition is a summary rather than an extensive
data book. Detailed data now can be found at www.kidsdata.org.
